As lead partner of WeMakeThe.City on the theme ‘food in the city and region’, Rabobank is taking concrete action in building a resilient regional food system. Cities around the world are growing exponentially. In all likelihood, more than seventy per cent of the global population will live in cities by 2050. How do we make sure that we provide all these people with enough healthy, sustainable and high quality food? During the conference ‘De Hongerige Stad’ (The Hungry City), we will look for answers on how to build a resilient, regional food system for the cities of tomorrow.
