BOUW is a creative breeding place in the Kolenkitbuurt, where creatives make, build, and co-create. Together with the neighbourhood, refugees and creative communities such as the GildeLab, AGALAB, ZID Theater, Boromini, Studio Ferdinand and many other designers and artists. During WeMakeThe.City BOUW opens its doors to the public to show you what they are all about.

In the hallway of the creative breeding place BOUW there will be an exhibition of political posters made by Peim van der Sloot and an exhibition of a variety of portraits photographed by Jean Christophe Husson.

Photographer Marnix Postma keeps his studio in BOUW. He grew up on basketball, hiphop and graffiti; now he creates powerful images for the big brands he works with. During WeMakeThe.City he will exhibit his work and introduce you to his world of fashion. Curious about his powerful images and exciting collaborations? Then come by and be inspired! You can find his studio at Ferdinand Huyckstraat 34, where he will welcome you between 12:00 and 18:00.

Rather in a search for a new signature piece for in your wardrobe? Pay a visit to the sample sale of BYBROWN! Designer Melanie Brown is the driving force behind this fashion label aimed at changing the face of urban rainwear for women. They are housed in the creative breeding ground BOUW at Ferdinand Huyckstraat 40. Come check out the sample sale between 14:00 and 18:00 if you love style and functionality and are looking for a signature rainwear piece.
