Wasteland
Urban ExpoExpo by Kadir van Lohuizen

Photojournalist Kadir van Lohuizen - winner of the World Press Photo Award 2018 ‘Environment’ - documented the main waste streams in five metropolises: Tokyo, New York, Jakarta, Sao Paolo, Lagos, and his hometown Amsterdam. From garbage on the streets to the recycling industry.
The result is an impressive photographed and filmed exposé of pictures and video footage made by drones of waste dumps. Van Lohuizen provides insight into the consequences of our consumer
