From the ViewPoint you can see the past and the future of the neighborhood.

To the north is the old Van Eesteren ‘New Building’ architecture and a vegetable garden maintained by residents of the surrounding buildings. Collective gardening poses the same challenges and requires the same commitment from participants as society does to her citizens.

To the south you see the new development, the future of the neighbourhood, against the backdrop of the iconic Kolenkit Churchtower, the name giver of the neighbourhood. Cascoland designs this future in co-creation with residents in projects like the AnchorPlace, the HelloBridge, the Share-Plinth and the Kolenkit Stay-Over House, all visible from the ViewPoint.
