Senior Citizen Route

This route will help you discover what the city has to offer regarding nature, health and healthcare, culture and architecture. We curated a special route with programmes where these themes and others are central.

Visit the current exhibition at Museum Amsterdam, which the late mayor of Amsterdam Eberhard van der Laan curated before his untimely passing. He selected 80 works from the collections of the Stadsarchief Amsterdam and Amsterdam Museum to give his vision of the future of the city.

You might also want to participate in the programme hosted by Stichting OOPOEH. They committed themselves to helping senior citizens by bringing them in contact with dogs. This way, they are in good company and have a more active life, while giving dogs with the attention they need.
