Innovation Tour, Special Edition

If I asked you to envision a city of the future, what would you imagine? Flying cars whizzing overhead or glass towers reaching for the sky? Surely a 700-year-old city built on the muddy banks of a river wouldn’t appear before your mind’s eye. But Amsterdam is just that!

On this ‘special edition’ self-guiding tour, you will see some of the many innovations this city has to offer. We will walk the tour together.  After the tour, we will tell you all about Amsterdam Smart City during an open house and we will do a workshop with Omons. A new platform and decision-making tool that has been developed for cities and local residents that want to make the transition to sustainable energy. and you can visit a green-blue roof at the Marineterrein.

This tour will be taking place on Friday (in English) and Saturday (in Dutch). The Dutch tour is slightly different - you can find the information here.
Optional on Friday: At 17.00 o’clock, the ROEF festival takes off at NEMO. On the roof of this iconic building, you can do some interesting experiments, with a drink of course!
