Jochem Brouwer (Amsterdam, 1972) started to photograph the haute couture shows of Frank Govers at the age of 17. After two seasons he received the assignment to make the press photos and he continued working with Govers until the retirement of the latter.In the last six years of this Dutch couturier's career, Jochem made iconic photographs of his creations. A time of glamour, opulence and perfection is clearly visible in his works, opposing the easy and fast fashion we see nowadays.
